Ben Bradshaw MP

The Labour Party is a democratic socialist party. It believes that by the strength of our common endeavour we achieve more than we achieve alone, so as to create for each of us the means to realise our true potential and for all of us a community in which power, wealth and opportunity are in the hands of the many not the few, where the rights we enjoy reflect the duties we owe, and where we live together freely, in a spirit of solidarity, tolerance and respect.

Your local Labour County Councillors:
Working Hard for Exeter and for You

Jill Owen, Olwen Foggin, Richard Westlake, Saxon SpenceSince 2005 Labour’s group of Devon county councillors, all representing Exeter, have stood up for the interests of Exeter residents.

While the rest of the county council is dominated by Liberal Democrat and Conservative councillors from rural areas, the Labour Group stand up for the unique interests and issues affecting our great city.

Labour’s experienced and hard-working councillors have provided the only effective opposition to the Liberal Democrats in charge at County Hall.

The Liberal Democrat run County Council have given Exeter the worst ever pot-holed streets, the Topsham Road widening fiasco, the Paris Street one-way blunder, Cheeke Street congestion, the Splash play scheme debacle, and failed nursing homes sell-off.

And then they have the cheek to want total and undemocratic control over all of Exeter’s Services?

Exeter's Labour Councillors say No!
