Over
40 people from the West Exe area attended a Coffee Evening on Wednesday
26 July at the Emmanuel Church Hall with Ben Bradshaw MP. Ben mingled
with those attending, taking up any personal issues raised. This was
followed by a lively question and answer session.
Amongst many issues and concerns raised were : The high Water Rates in the South West, Apprenticeship schemes, the Police, When will we get a Unitary Exeter, NHS, M.P's expenses, Gazumping, Cycling on pavements, enforcement of 20mph zones, Pensions, Why has the Big Issue seller been prohibited from selling outside Russell and Bromley where there was shelter in bad weather?
