Karl Knill: Your candidate on 3 May 2012

I have lived in Devon all my life and spent the past 7 years living in Exeter. I am currently a student social worker and part-time support worker with children in and around Exeter. I am an active member of the trade union, Unison.

I am standing as your Labour Party candidate because I believe St Loyes is a fantastic community that needs a councillor who will advocate the needs and opinions of its residents. If elected as your councillor, I will ensure you are represented and heard on the city council.

The majority of people in this country did not vote for a Tory government, yet a Tory-led government is what we have. In St Loyes, Labour is the only real alternative to the Tories. If you want a city council that cares about you and will do everything it can to mitigate the disastrous policies of this government, then vote Labour and keep the Tories out.
