Rob Crew: Your candidate on 3 May 2012
I’d like to introduce myself as the new Labour Party Candidate for Alphington.
I currently work for a trade union, having previously worked in local authority housing and social services. I also have experience of working for a small publishing company in the private sector and am concerned that job opportunities and services that we all rely on are under threat at a time of austerity and cuts.
I’ve lived in the South West for most of my life and am committed to bringing growth and development to the area whilst preserving the natural environment that we all enjoy.
Living just off Alphington Road, I know first-hand how difficult it can be for first time buyers to get on the property ladder, so promoting affordable housing in the city is very important to me.
I look forward to meeting as many residents in Alphington as possible in the next few months and hearing about any concerns that you may have and any ideas for the future.
