The Boundary Commission have launched the final consultation on their proposed changes to the Parliamentary boundaries in Exeter.  The proposal is part of a complete review of constituencies across the county which aims to to rebalance the number of electors in each Parliamentary constituency.

The Boundary Commission is currently recommending that the Pinhoe, St Loyes and Topsham wards should be part of the newly created Exeter East and Exmouth constituency. The consultation runs until the 5th of December and current proposals and the opportunity to comment are on  the Boundary Commission’s website www.bcereviews.org.uk

The boundary changes would only affect Parliamentary constituency boundaries, which is the area which an MP represents. It will not affect Exeter City boundaries and your council services will remain unchanged whatever the result of the consolation.
