A huge thank you to the thousands of people who demonstrated their support and confidence in our administration by voting Labour. As a result Labours clear majority on Exeter City Council is unchanged.

This year we had 13 fantastic candidates across the city, all of whom worked incredibly hard and we thank them for all the time and energy that they put in.

We are delighted to have returned all of our hardworking councillors and welcomed some brilliant new members to the Labour Group.

Four new Labour Councillors will be joining our ranks on Exeter City Council. Twice the number of new candidates elected to the other parties combined.

Labour won more than half of the 13 seats in this election.  Although we were disappointed to lose St Thomas ward by a narrow margin, we made another fantastic gain from the Conservatives in Topsham.

Residents across the city in their thousands made clear that they valued the work Labour does in carefully steering Exeter through difficult times.

Exeter Labour takes pride in our positive campaigning and this year was no different, with a well-run, clean Labour campaign.
