Cllr Rob Hannaford, who has lived in St Thomas for over twenty years, has been reselected again for the Exeter City Council Elections on Thursday 7th May 2020.

He has been a City Councillor for St Thomas since 2003, and a County Councillor since 2005, and has
previous elected experience since 1995. In these roles he has worked on many committees, served as the Lord Mayor and Deputy Lord Mayor of Exeter, lobbied and campaigned with and for local people, and secured many local neighbourhood improvements both big and small, including the £175,000 to complete the St Thomas Community Centre.

Over many years at various times, he has been a governor of five local schools, and was a founder Governor of the West Exe Children’s Centre.

Rob adds: “It’s a great privilege to represent St Thomas. Over the years I have done my best to dedicate my time, energy, passion and efforts to represent and care for St Thomas. We all know that our local area is a very special part of Exeter, we have a real sense of community pride and strong neighbourhoods – together we are a community. Our collective local response to the pandemic continues to be inspiring and heart-warming. If re-elected again I will carry on workinghard concentrating on local grass roots issues and neighbourhood concerns with my ward colleagues, and Ben Bradshaw’s team. Thank you for your support.“
