Mincinglake & Whipton - Your Labour Candidate
It is a privilege to represent residents of Mincinglake and Whipton on Exeter City Council and I am delighted to have been re-selected to stand as the Labour Candidate in the May 2022 elections.
I first stood in 2021 because I wanted to help people overcome barriers, support our communities to come together, and ensure that residents feel seen, heard and involved in how our city grows and develops.
I hope I have demonstrated by my actions that if re-elected I will continue to work tirelessly on behalf of our ward and communities. I am passionate about defending the green fields of Mincinglake and Whipton from development and delighted by the victories we have won so far.
We have fought and won against two applications to develop our ward’s precious green hills and I continue to work with residents to fight off further applications.

I have also worked with individuals concerned about small-scale planning applications, and promptly responded to casework on issues from housing to anti-social behaviour. I am an active member of various community groups, and a school governor of Willowbrook Primary School.
I believe more strongly than ever that communities and their representatives can achieve significant positive change when they work together. It would be an honour to be re-elected by residents and continue this work over the coming years.
