Exwick - One of your two Labour Candidates
I am delighted and proud to have been chosen as the Labour candidate in Exwick for the City Council election in May 2022. I have been part of the strong local Labour Team with Phil Bialyk, Ollie Pearson and Rob Hannaford since 2010.
In the time I have been your Councillor, there have been many changes across the city and in Exwick. New homes have been built and many older social houses and flats have been modernised and made more energy efficient.
Exeter College have taken over the former Civil Service Club and as well as their own teaching programme many local and community sports groups have access to first class facilities. The team and I continue to deal with casework that includes reporting faulty street lights and fly tipping and getting stencils on pavements reminding dog owners about the need to pick up after their pets.
Exwick Ward grants from Exeter City Council have been given to groups offering Tennis lessons, the Cricket Club, Craft sessions run by our local Community Builder and for tree planting as part of the Flow Orchard by the river.
I have spoken to many residents over the years and I shall be out with the team in the coming months to listen to your views. I look forward to speaking to you and thank you for your support.
